There has been a border dispute between India and China in the eastern Ladakh region for the last year. But in the meantime, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has announced in the Rajya Sabha that India and China have now reached an agreement on the dispute near Pangong Lake. That is, both countries are fully prepared to repel their armies. Apart from this, work on this process has also started from Wednesday.

On Thursday, a statement was made by Rajnath Singh when a day before the talk of the withdrawal of the two forces from Pangong Lake came to light and now the government has made an official announcement through Parliament. In his speech, Rajnath Singh said that a large number of ammunition was collected by China on the eastern Ladakh border last year. During this time our Indian forces retaliated to China.

At the same time, both sides have been engaged in talks with each other since September. Our agenda is to position itself on the LAC. Apart from this, the Defense Minister said that China has occupied a large part since 1962. India has said that the border situation in China will have an impact on the relationship.

Rajnath Singh, while speaking in the Rajya Sabha, said that our strategy for negotiation is clear from all sides, which is also the instruction of PM Narendra Modi that we will not let anyone take our one inch of land. It is the result of our determination that we have reached a compromise position. Rajnath Singh also informed that India and China have decided to retreat to South and North areas of Paigongay Lake.
