Nepal permits Fully Vaxxed Travelers with No RT-PCR test

In order to boost tourism in the country, Nepal has announced to scrap off the requirement of RT-PCR test report for international travelers if they are fully vaccinated. According to the reports, international travelers will now effectively can visit to Nepal without going through a pre-flight PCR test. In view of the current situation of Covid-19 cases in the country, the Covid-19 Crisis Management Coordination Centre (CCMC) of the Government of Nepal has lately announced to scrap off the PCR test prerequisite for the travelers who are completelt immunized against Covid-19.
Revival of Tourism Sector
To revive the tourism sector of the country, the domestic flights will be offering special discounts to international travelers. Also, the hoteliers associated with the Hotel Association of Nepal will be offering at least a 20% discount to the international visitors for their services.
As per the reports, Nepal is pushing forward to restore its badly impacted tourism sector with vital activity plans which are set up and formulated by the National Tourism Revival Committee, along with the public and private sector partners of the tourism sector.
To begin the new initiatives in the tourism sector, the National Tourism Revival Committee has set these guidelines:
- Mandatory RT-PCR test for fully vaccinated travelers is waived off.
- Special discounts will be offered by the domestic flights to international travelers during the revival period.
