Massive accident at Trikuta Mountain Deoghar, Rescue operation in progress
After the massive incident happened in Trikuta Mountains, rescue operation is going on by the teams of NDRF, Indian Army and Indian Air Force.

A massive accident took place at Trikuta Mountain in Deoghar, Jharkhand. Many tourists got stranded in the ropeway. In order to rescue the tourists, the teams of district administration and NDRF are working with mutual coordination. The state government has made a special request to the Indian Air Force (IAF), following which the stranded tourists will be rescued with the help of helicopters sent by the Indian Air Force (IAF).
Travelers getting evacuated
As per reports, so far, 19 travelers have been evacuated out of which three tourists are referred to Sadar Hospital, Deoghar. However, 29 tourists are still stranded in the ropeway. ITBP PRO Vivek Pandey stated that the rescue operation is in progress. Food is being sent to the stranded travelers. The rescue operation is being carried out by the Indian Army, NDRF, Indian Air Force, local police, and the district administration.
Trikuta Mountains
Trikuta mountains are located in the Deoghar district of Jharkhand. The mountains are widely known for trekking, ropeway, and wildlife adventure activities. The place has a spiritual presence of the famous Trikutachal Mahadeva Temple and the ashram of Rishi Dayanand which is visited by many pilgrims.
Teams have joined hands
As reported by news agency ANI, CM Hemant Soren said that help from the NDRF, Indian Air Force, and Garud Commandos have arrived for the rescue operation. The team who built the ropeway also reached there to help in the rescue of travelers. The government is taking care of everything, he said.

District Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri and Police Captain Subhash Chandra Jat have been camping at the spot since Sunday and are closely monitoring each and every activity being done for rescue and relief work.
