Italy Removes All Covid-19 Related Curbs For Visitors
Travelers are no more required to present their vaccination or recovery certificate to enter Italy.

In a recent update, the government of Italy has announced lifting all the Covid-19 related restrictions for travelers. Now, travelers are no more required to show their vaccination certificate or recovery certificate at the time of arrival in Italy. Apart from this, there is no need for travelers to get tested at the airport or show any document for testing negative while entering the borders of Italy.

The Fresh Guidelines
The new guidelines came into effect on June 1. With the fresh guidelines, Italy stands at par with other European nations including Sweden, Iceland, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Croatia that have removed all the restrictions which were imposed as a precautionary measure against the Covid-19 pandemic.
In this reference, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has published on the website that a Green Pass or any equivalent certificate is no more required to enter Italy, and all restrictions related to Covid-19 have been lifted.

Mandatory requirement of vaccination certificates no more mandatory
Earlier, it was a mandate for travelers to show their vaccination certificate with both vaccines or the booster dose or their recovery certificate from Covid-19, or they have to show their negative testing certificate at the time of arrival in the country.
The decision has been announced after Italy lifts the restrictions for visitors to show vaccination certificates for entering places like restaurants, bars, and museums. The move has been announced by the government of Italy to boost summer tourism.
