Arunachal Pradesh's Greenfield Airport to Begin Operations From Aug 15
The energy-efficient greenfield airport comes with all fashionable amenities for passengers and it will be ready to accommodate two hundred passengers throughout peak hours.
Arunachal Pradesh is all set to begin operations at the Hollongi Greenfield Airport on August 15. Located near the capital Itanagar, the Hollongi airport could be a greenfield airport, placed simply 15 kilometers from the state.

Airports in and near Arunachal Pradesh
Currently, the closest airport for Arunachal is the Lilabari airport in the North Lakhimpur district in Assam. Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International airport in Guwahati, Assam, is the nearest international airport from Itanagar.
State Civil Aviation Minister Nakap Nalo shared via a tweet, "AAI first flight test landing done at Hollongi Greenfield Airport today. As promised, we have completed the Hollongi Airport before the time frame. It will be commissioned on 15th August 2022 and will be available for passengers."

Operations to begin on August 15
The Hollongi airport is equipped to start operations on August 15, once which it'll be obtainable for passengers.
