India vs Australia match in Mohali: T20 series

This time India is going to play three matches with Australia in the T20 series. First out of the three matches is held in PCA Stadium located in Mohali on September 20, 2022. Another match is scheduled on September 23 in Nagpur. And last match between India and Australia is organized on September 25 in Hyderabad. Last time both of these teams had faced each other in December 2020.

Recently India had to get out of the Asia Cup 2022 tournament after losing matches from Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the Super 4s. That’s why it is natural for people to expect better performance from the players in this tournament. The BCCI has built a squad of 16 members for the tournament on the basis of performances in T20 World Cup.

Indian team against Australia comprises Rohit Sharma Captain , KL Rahul (Vice Vaptain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik, Hardik Pandya, Ravichandaran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav. Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami are not a part of the match because Jadeja is suffering with a knee injury, Shami is ruled out due to covid.

Australia team for this match includes Sean Abbott, Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, Aaron Finch (c), Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Kane Richardson, Daniel Sams, Steve Smith, Matthew Wade, Adam Zampa. Mitchell Starc, David Warner, Marcus Stoinis and Mitchell Marsh would miss the series. 

All the three IND vs AUS T20 matches would began at 7.30 pm IST. While the weather for the first game in Mohali is predicted to be around 25-27 degrees in the evening. Humidity and dew will also remain on the day which may create difficulty for the players. A thunderstorm is also predicted in the afternoon of September 20.
