Weather Update: Light to Moderate Rainfall Likely to Pour in Delhi
Thundershower with moderate to heavy intensity rain with very heavy intensity rain over isolated places would occur over and adjoining areas of entire Delhi and NCR.

For July 21, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate intensity of rainfall to take place over Delhi today including the isolated places of North Delhi, West Delhi, North-West Delhi, South-West Delhi, and NCR. On Wednesday, rain lashed parts of Delhi causing issues like waterlogging and traffic.

Weather Forecast by the IMD
In the weather forecast, the IMD said, "Thundershower with moderate to heavy intensity rain with very heavy intensity rain over isolated places and gusty winds with speed of 30-50 Km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of entire Delhi and NCR ( Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, Ballabhgarh) Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Mattanhail, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Sohana, Palwal (Haryana) Bagpat, Khekra, Modinagar, Kithor, Amroha, Moradabad, Garhmukteshwar, Rampur, Pilakhua, Hapur, Gulaoti, Siyana, Sambhal, Billari, Milak, Sikandrabad, Chandausi, Bulandshahar, Jahangirabad, Anupshahar, Bahajoi, Bareilly, Shikarpur, Khurja, Pahasu, Debai, Narora, Gabhana, Sahaswan, Atrauli, Badayun, Kasganj, Ganjdundwara, Etah (U.P.) during next 2 hours."

Further, the weather agency said, "thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of Yamunanagar, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Narwana, Safidon, Rajaund, Barwala, Panipat, Jind, Gohana, Hisar, Adampur, Hansi, Gannaur, Meham, Shamli, Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Kandhla, Baraut."

The Maximum and Minimum temperature
As per the weather forecast, on Thursday, the national capital is likely to record the maximum temperature and the minimum temperature at 35 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
On Wednesday, Delhi's base station, Safdarjung Observatory reported the maximum temperature at 35.1 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature settled at 28.2 degrees Celsius with the humidity level standing at 69 percent.
