On Monday, the Meteorological Department has said that the sky will remain clear. The maximum temperature will remain stable at 25 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can reach 6 degrees Celsius. From February 8 onwards, there will be clouds followed by rain and strong winds on February 9. 

Weather in Delhi-NCR 

The weather in Delhi NCR with intermittent rain is forcing us to chill. In the last week of January, when the sun came out in Delhi-NCR, it seemed that now the cold is going away. Meanwhile, for two consecutive days, the rain with high speed winds also ended that pleasant feeling. After the rain, the dense fog was seen in the morning for two consecutive days. 

The Meteorological Department says that the sky will remain clear on Monday. The maximum temperature can be 25 degrees and the minimum can be 6 degrees. After this the minimum temperature will also increase. Clouds will be seen from February 8, followed by rain and strong winds on February 9. Due to which the temperature will decrease. From February 10, the weather will start to get clear again. However, the temperature will remain around 21 to 22 degrees till February 13. 

Cold wave conditions

As per Skymet Weather, cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of North India on Sunday. The minimum temperature remained low by 3 to 5 degrees in many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The reason for this drop in minimum temperature is dry and cold north-westerly winds. These winds are reaching the capital from the snow-capped mountains of the western Himalayas. Now a fresh Western Disturbance is approaching from the Western Himalayas. Due to this, the effect of cold winds will be less and the temperature will start increasing. Cold wave conditions will subside. 

Possibility of Rainfall 

A cyclonic circulation is likely to develop over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas around February 8 and 9, with the possibility of scattered rains over Punjab, Haryana including Delhi . There is a possibility of scattered rain over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh including Delhi on February 8 and northern parts of Rajasthan on February 8. The maximum temperature is likely to drop by 2 to 3 degrees on February 9 and 10. However, the minimum temperature will increase by 2 to 4 degrees.
