Ukraine-Russia War: Indian Embassy issues Advisory for Indians stuck in Ukraine
As per the advisory, no one has been advised to go to the border areas without informing.

The Indian Embassy in Ukraine has issued a new advisory for the Indian citizens trapped in the Ukraine-Russia war. As per the advisory, no one has been advised to go to the border areas without informing. It has been said in the advisory that before going to the border, the officials of the Embassy in Kiev should be contacted. Helpline numbers have already been issued for this. Today is the third day of Russia's attack on Ukraine. Since Saturday night, the Russian army has surrounded the capital Kiev.
The Advisory
“All Indian Citizens in Ukraine are advised to not move to any of the border posts without prior coordination with the government of India officials at the border posts (helpline numbers established) and the emergency numbers of the embassy of India in Kyiv. Those who are in transit, please return to your familiar places of habitation," the embassy said.
“Embassy is finding it increasingly difficult to help the crossing of those Indian nationals who reach border checkpoint without prior intimation," it said in the advisory.
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said at least 10 students of the state are stranded in Ukraine, and the government is working with the Indian Embassy there and Ministry of External Affairs to bring them back home safely.
He said, "At the time when war broke out between Russia and Ukraine, about hundred Indian students were on their way to the airport in two buses and got stranded, as the flights could not land. More than 10 are from Karnataka, we are gathering information about them."
It has also been said in the advisory that wherever Indian students are, they should remain there till further orders.
