Mrs World 2022 crown won by an Indian, Sargam Koushal

Sargam Koushal who represented India at the 2022 Mrs World competition has won it for the country. The competition was held at a gala event in Las Vegas and she has won it against 63 other contestants from different nations.

Sargam hails from Jammu and Kashmir, she holds a postgraduate degree in English literature and has previously taught as a teacher in a school in Vizag.

She has shared a video of the winning moment and can be seen in an emotional state and shedding tears of joy. The crown has been won by an Indian after 21 years previously won by Dr. Aditi Govitrikar in 2001, she was also one of the judges in the 2022-23 competion and has expressed her joy and elation over Sargam’s win and the crown coming back to India.

Sargam Koushal opted for a shimmery pink Bhawna Rao gown for her final round that had intricate embroidery work on it making her look gorgeous and a diva, to complete her look she added silver toned drop earrings, a silver bracelet, and a jewel studded ring.

This competition has been going on since 1984 and it is successfully crowned some beautiful, confident and bold women over the years and it is a proud moment that another Indian women has got added to the list.
