Manoj Bajpayee’s mother Geeta Devi passed away at the age of 80 due to prolonged illness.

Popular Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee is saddened by the unfortunate news of his mother’s death. His mother Geeta Devi passed away at the age of 80 a just after a year of his father R.K Bajpayee’s death.

Popular Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee is saddened by the unfortunate news of his mother’s death. His mother Geeta Devi passed away at the age of 80 a just after a year of his father R.K Bajpayee’s death. 

Manoj Bajpayee revealed the news to the media. According to him his mother took her last breathe on December 8, 2022 at around 8:30 am. Although the family denied revealing the true reason of the death, it was reported that Geeta devi was suffering from serious illness and was undergoing treatment in Delhi's Pushpanjali Medical Centre and Max Super speciality Hospital since last 20 days.

The three sons and three daughters of Geeta Devi are all devasted by the news of their mother’s demise. Manoj was closely attached to both of his parents. Last year Manoj Bajpayee had lost his father, R. K Bajpayee in the month of October 2021 while he was 83. The actor who couldn’t imagine his life without his beloved parents is forced to bear the news of their demise within a year.

Reportedly, Manoj Bajpayee recievd this shocking news while he was shooting for a film in Kerala. He rushed to Delhi to attend the last rites. When Manoj Bajpayee received the National Awards in 2021 for being the 'Best Actor', he felt alone. In an interview, the actor had mentioned that his father who used to keep track of his films, awards, honours, and everything. However he is deeply missing the presence of hid father.

Manoj Bajpayee worked in films such as Satya, Shool, Pinjar and Gangs of Wasseypur and is the owner of three National awards. Manoj took birth in Belwa located in West Champaran district of Bihar. He shifted to Delhi and joined the National School of Drama followed by his visit to Mumbai to pursue his dream career of becoming an actor.
