Kanpur cop’s video of beating a woman goes viral over social media

A horrific video has gone viral over social media, Samajwadi party shared the video in their twitter handle. The 2 minutes video shows a policeman, who appears to be a sub-inspector rank officer from Kanpur’s Kakwan area is seen beating a woman mercilessly and manhandling her. The woman can be seen shouting out in agony asking for help. People can be seen shouting from outside the door asking the police the reason behind shutting the door and pleading for help to save her and the woman from inside can be heard saying ‘he is beating me, torturing me’ the video clearly shows us the entire situation.

The cop when realizes that he is getting filmed starts defending his actions and did not release the woman until the end of the video. While defending himself he says, “You people are not doing the right thing with police, whatever you are doing is wrong”.

Samajwadi party has slammed yogi’s government and the party has expresses its views on twitter by calling out on the horrible act by the police and how action should be taken against the cop shown in the video.

The video has definitely caused negative feeling against the cop and his actions towards the woman are cruel. Everyone is appealing to the government to take action against the cop for his brutal act.
