India’s 2nd Apple store to be opened in Delhi’s Saket, Tim Cook inaugurates the store.

India’s 2nd Apple store will open in Delhi on 20th April and the store is situated in Delhi’s Saket which will be inaugurated by Tim Cook at 10am.

India’s 2nd Apple store will open in Delhi on 20th April and the store is situated in Delhi’s Saket which will be inaugurated by Tim Cook at 10am. This is the second store in India after its first one was unveiled in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

Tim Cook met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday and is expected to meet with customers as well in Apple Saket on Wednesday. Deirdre O’Brien Apple’s Senior Vice president of Retail stated “we’re thrilled to bring the best of Apple to our customers in Delhi with the opening of our second store in India, Apple Saket.”

The store is in the first floor of Delhi’s Select City Walk Mall which is smaller than the flagship store in Mumbai but will showcase all Apple products and experiences. The store will have 70 employees who can speak 15 languages among them.

Deirdre O’Brien stated “our incredible team members look forward to connecting with the local community and helping them find new ways to pursue their passions and unleash their creativity through our amazing products and services.”

Wendy Beckman, Apple’s senior director for retail under whom the India store will come said “ our team will be here to walk them through anything they need and your questions to support service, but also they’ll be able to share some of the services that we offer like ways to buy, our training program, and Apple pickup.”
