Union Minister Ashwini Choubey announced amid farmers' demonstration, Kharif crops will be procured

Chandigarh. Union Minister Ashwini Choubey has taken a big decision amid the delay in the purchase of paddy in Haryana and the farmers' protest. While assuring the farmers, he has announced that the procurement of paddy will start in Haryana and Punjab from Sunday i.e. tomorrow. At the same time, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has also appealed to the farmers to end the protest. He has said that farmers have nothing to worry about now. Paddy procurement will start in Haryana from Sunday itself. The special thing is that paddy will be procured from tomorrow in all the mandis of Haryana. According to the information, after meeting CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Minister of State for Food and Consumer Affairs Ashwini Choubey has made this announcement regarding the purchase of paddy.

In fact, the anger of the farmers had erupted in Haryana on stopping the purchase of paddy. For this reason, farmers in many places including Jind, Bhiwani, Karnal and Panipat came out on the roads today. During this, farmers gheraoed CM Manohar Lal Khattar's house in Karnal. Along with this, the farmers created a ruckus at the residence of Agriculture Minister JP Dalal in Bhiwani. While heavy police force was deployed on the spot for security. The farmers submitted the demand letter to the PA in the absence of the minister and accused the Haryana government of neglecting the farmers.
