A man from Rajasthan has created Guinness World Record of longest journey by bicycle in single country.
Narpat Singh Rajpurohit, a 34 yr old man from Rajasthan has made a Guinness World Record for the longest journey in a single country by covering a distance of 30,121.64km.

Narpat started his journey on 27th January 2019 at Jammu Airport and finished it on 20th April 2022 in Jaipur, Rajasthan while covering 29 states. The official statement said “During his cycling trip, Narpat had to walk in heavy rain in many places, such as mountainous areas. Narpat went ‘on the path of the forest’”.
Rajpurohit mentioned that during the Covid-19 break Narpat had to halt his journey in TamilNadu for nearly 4 months and often had to survive on biscuits. He also planted 93,000 saplings during his journey. He also went to many educational institutes and railway stations to distribute saplings and used to gather people to make people aware on why it is important to save environment.
He stated that “I had only one target of taking my campaign to save the environment to the maximum number of people. I went to schools, colleges, and railway stations to distribute saplings…. I held gatherings at around 14oo-1500 locations during the journey to convey the message of why it is important to save the environment”. He completed his journey with the help of GPS and had once broken his hand in an accident. He received his certificate for setting the record on last Thursday.
