A doctor dies from Covid in Faridabad: while cases continue to escalate in Haryana

India has now entered the third wave of the pandemic. Every day we see a rise in the number of cases of Covid patients and with it the death rate has escalated as well. No state is safe and away from the reach of this monster named Corona. In Haryana, the situation is just as worse. As of 15th of November, a day after Diwali, it was reported that, the total number of COVID cases in Haryana is 199874. This includes 19557 active cases, 178298 recoveries and 2019 Deaths.
During these hard and testing times, doctors are the real saviours and the real heroes. But how to feel when our doctors are the one getting inflicted by this evil?
One such case is of Faridabad, where a 57 year old doctor died of corona.
Dr Archana Bhatia (57) was a Gynaecologist, who had her own clinic in Sector 7. She was under treatment at a hospital in Gurugram for Covid, but couldn’t win the battle of her life and died on Friday of last week.
She was tested positive for Corona two weeks ago and was immediately transferred to the hospital for treatment. Her husband, Mr Pankaj Bhatia, who was also tested positive, but recovered with time.
According to a source, With 1,957 cases, Haryana tally stood at 1,99,874 on Sunday. Meanwhile, with eight more deaths, the toll reached 2019. Faridabad reported the maximum cases (643), followed by Gurugram (515), Hisar (163), Sonepat (136) and Rohtak (92).
