Runway 34 To Close Lifetime Earnings At Around 32 Crores
Runway 34 is likely to have an overall collection of around Rs. 32 crore. Previously, Singham was closed at Rs. 32 crore.
Directed and Produced by Ajay Devgn, Runway 34 was released in theatres on April 29, 2022. The movie has starred Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, Amitabh Bachhan, Boman Irani and Angira Dhar in lead roles. On release day in India, the movie's overall collection stood at Rs. 3 crore. Even after weeks of its release, the movie is still playing in a few theatres in the country. The previous project of Ajay Devgn, Shivaay, managed to earn Rs. 100 crore.

The Overall Collection
As per a recent report by Koimoi, so far, Runway 34 has successfully collected Rs. 32 crore and it is still being played in many parts of the country. It is likely that the movie will be able to collect around 1 crore by May 29.
Ajay's other movie Singham, which was released in 2014 had collected Rs. 32 crore and it is expected that Runway 34 will go ahead Singham in terms of collections made.

About Runway 34
The storyline of Runway 34 is inspired by true events of the Jet Airways Doha to Kochi flight 9W 555. On August 18, 1995, an aircraft had a narrow escape after dealing with difficulties while landing at Cochin International Airport. The difficulties were faced by the pilots due to the bad weather conditions and less visibility at 05:45 in the morning.
In the movie, Ajay has played the character of Captain Vikrant Khanna, and Amitabh Bachhan has portrayed the character of lawyer Narayan Vedant.
