Mahima Chaudhury Beats Breast Cancer, Wants to Come Back to Mumbai

On Thursday, June 09, Anupam Kher shared an emotional video of Bollywood's beautiful actress Mahima Chaudhury. In the video, Mahima is sharing about her journey to fight breast cancer and how hard it was. 

While sharing the video, Anupam Kher wrote, "Story of @mahimachaudhury1's courage and Cancer: I called Mahima Chaudhury a month back from US to play a very important role in my 525th film The Signature. Our conversation turned to her discovering that she has Breast Cancer. What followed is in this candid conversation between us. Her attitude will give hope to so many women all over the world. She wanted me to be part of her disclosing about it. She calls me an eternal optimist but dearest Mahima! "You are my HERO!" Friends! Send her love, warmth, wishes, prayers and blessings. Mahima's Upcoming Project 

As per a report by ETimes, Mahima shared, "I'm shooting for Last Signature with Anupam Kher and Anu Kapoor. It's directed by Marathi filmmaker Gajendra Ahire. I'm on set in Lucknow right now." 

Further, she was quoted as saying by ETimes, "Today I will have to finish all my scenes, as tomorrow I fly to Mumbai for my daughter Ariana's birthday." 

She said, "I haven't shared my diagnosis with my parents. They will hear about it on the news now. I want to get back and be with them. I have made a full recovery and I just need all the love and support to get going again."

Mahima's journey in Bollywood 

Mahima has worked in various Bollywood movies like Pardes, Dhadkan, Lajja, Baghban, Deewane, and many others. Her last movie titled Dark Chocolate released in 2016.
