On Tuesday, the first song of Pankaj Tripathi starrer Sherdil - The Pilibhit Saga has released. The song was sung by Krishnakumar Kunnath who left for his heavenly abode a few days back. He was just 53 years old when he said goodbye to all of us after his concert Naztul Manch in Kolkata. He gave his melodious voice to numerous bollywood songs.

As the first song of the movie has released, the fans got emotional after listening to the magical voice of KK. The recently released song 'Dhoop Paani Behne De' talk about conserving the forests. Composed by Shantanu Moitra, the lyrics of the song are written by veteran writer and poet Gulzaar.

About the song and the movie 

In the song, the lead actor Pankaj Tripathi is seen wandering in the forest. Directed by multiple award winners Srijit Mukherji, 'Sherdil - The Pilibhit Saga' will feature Pankaj Tripathi, Neeraj Kabi, and Sayani Gupta in main roles. The storyline of the movie is inspired by true incidents. The movie talks about the adverse effects of urbanization on the poverty-driven villagers who live on the outskirts of the city.
