On Friday, a big news related to the customers of SBI has come to the fore. Online services of this bank are going to remain unavailable for 5 hours tomorrow night. SBI Internet Banking Services will not be available for customers from 11:30 PM to 4:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday nights. 

"The users of SBI internet banking services will not be able to use various features like Internet Banking, YONO, YONO Lite, UPI for a total duration of 300 minutes on Saturday and Sunday due to scheduled maintenance activities", reported Mint. Customers using SBI's Internet Banking should know that this work is being done for the technology up-gradation of the bank. 

Information for customers 

SBI informed its customers officially by tweeting about it. SBI's online banking services including YONO, YONO Lite, YONO Business and UPI will not work during this period. The bank has urged its customers to bear this partial hassle for some time because through this the bank is trying to provide better banking facilities to the people. 

Sharing the information to its official Twitter handle SBI wrote, "We request our esteemed customers to bear with us as we strive to provide a better banking experience. We will be undertaking technology upgrade in early morning hours on 11th Dec 2021 from 23:30 hrs to 4:30 hrs (300 minutes). During this period, INB/ Yono / Yono Lite / Yono Business / UPI will be unavailable. We regret the inconvenience and request you to bear with us." 


Services to remain affected 

In fact, SBI net banking will not be able to work from 11:30 pm on the night of 11 December till 4:30 am the next morning. This time has been chosen so that lesser customers have trouble due to this. For technology upgradation, banks have to stop the operation of online services, phone banking services for some time. Also, SBI has already informed its customers for this.
