Petrol-Diesel Prices Slash Down amidst Festive Season, Check the latest rates

On Friday, November 5, Petrol and diesel prices have slashed down with a sharp decline as more states had announced to reduce VAT charges. On the festive eve of Diwali, on Wednesday evening, the central government has announced to reduce excise duty on petrol by Rs 5 per litre and on diesel by Rs 10 per litre.
In a statement, the Finance Ministry said, "Government of India has taken a significant decision of reducing Central Excise Duty on Petrol & Diesel by Rs 5 and Rs 10 respectively from tomorrow. Prices of petrol and diesel will thus come down accordingly."
Further, it said, "The Government of India has made efforts to ensure that there is no energy shortage in the country and that commodities such as petrol and diesel are available adequately to meet our requirements."

Mumbai
Petrol is priced at Rs 109.98 per litre and Diesel is retailing at Rs 94.14 per litre.
Delhi
Petrol is costing Rs 103.97 per litre and Diesel is selling at Rs 86.67 per litre.
Chennai
Petrol is selling at Rs 101.40 per litre and Diesel is costing Rs 91.43 per litre.
Kolkata
Petrol is retailing at Rs 104.67 per litre and Diesel is priced at Rs 89.79 per litre.
Bhopal
Petrol is priced at Rs 107.23 per litre and Diesel is costing Rs 90.87 per litre.
Hyderabad
Petrol is costing Rs 108.20 per litre and Diesel is priced at Rs 94.62 per litre.
Bengaluru
Petrol is retailing at Rs 100.58 per litre and Diesel is selling at Rs 85.01 per litre.
