IIT Kharagpur declares GATE 2022 Results, Check now
IIT Kharagpur has declared the results of GATE 2022. Candidates can check their results from the official website.
On Thursday, March 17, 2022, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has released the GATE Result 2022. Candidates who have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can now check their result through the official site of IIT GATE at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
The GATE 2022 examination was held on February 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2022. The score card will be available on the official website on March 21, 2022. Earlier, the institute has released the answer key for the exam on February 21. To raise the objections against the provisional answer key students were given a time period from February 22 to 25.
Steps to check the result
- Visit the official web site of IIT GATE on gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
- On the home page, click on GATE Result 2022 link.
- Use your login credentials and click on submit.
- The result will reflect on your screen.
- Check the result.
- Download the result and take a print of it and keep it for the future reference.

Candidates are required to check the basic details like their name, subject name, application number etc. in the result and report to the authorities immediately if there is any discrepancy.
After clearing the exam, the candidates will have to choose the institutes where they want to proceed their studies based on their scores. The scores obtained in GATE is used for taking admission in IITs, IIITs, NITs, and other colleges. Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) like NTPC, GAIL and others also use this score to hire engineering graduates.
