The Vietnam government has announced to reopen prime tourist attractions for vaccinated tourists from December.

The government of Vietnam has announced to reopen all its prime tourist attractions to welcome more vaccinated travellers from December. As  the risk of Covid-19 is getting decreased, the Vietnam government will be opening up its borders for the international travellers. In Vietnam, tourism sector accounts for about 10%  of gross domestic product.

In the month of October, the Vietnam government had stated that the resort island Phu Quoc would be reopened for vaccinated travellers only from November. However, from December the country will allow vaccinated travellers from approved countries to visit UNESCO World Heritage sites in Vietnam. The tourist attractions include Halong Bay and Hoi An. Besides. 

On October 10, the government of Vietnam had announced to allow domestic flights to resume after more than two months. In the released statement, the government of Vietnam said, "We are only open when it's truly safe. We are moving step by step, cautiously but flexibly to adapt to real situations of the pandemic."
