Mumbai: Indian Railways Launches 10 Extra AC Local Trains

Central Railway General Manager Anil Kumar Lahoti reported the addition of 10 AC local train services on the event of the 75th Independence Day.

On the occasion of 75th Independence Day and to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Indian Railways has chosen to build the frequency of AC local trains on the Central Railway Line. As indicated by the data got from top rail route authorities, 10 extra AC local trains will be worked on the Central Railway line.

Additional AC Trains in Mumbai 

As per the Central Railway, these trains will be remembered as the armada of the Mumbai local trains. Out of these 10 AC local trains, 4 trains will run on the Badlapur-CSMT-Badlapur highway, 4 trains will run on the Thane-CSMT-Thane course and the other 2 will run on the Kalyan-CSMT-Kalyan course. 56 AC local trains are already running on the Central Railway line and after the consideration of 10 new AC local trains, this number will increase to 66.

The facility will enhance the traveling experience
