Bengaluru's International Airport Introduces AI Robots For Passengers
The AI-based robots are deployed at the airport for making the travel hassle-free. These robots will navigate through the airport and escort the travelers.

Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport, known as BLR Airport has introduced the services of AI-based assistant robots to provide an enhanced traveling experience to the passengers. On Tuesday, in a statement, the airport authority said that presently for the trial, 10 such robots are deployed at the airport to assist travelers' queries.
The statement also mentioned that more such robots would get deployed in the future in a calibrated manner. That will be developed based on their features and functionality after gauging the feedback from the passengers.

The AI-based Robots at the Airport
For these AI-based robots, the Bengaluru airport has entered into a partnership with Artiligent Solutions Pvt. Ltd., specialists in AI and Robotics, to develop the robots and create customized service software for travelers. As said by the airport in a statement, the official language for the system will be English. However, the options will be given to travelers to choose from regional languages and international languages.

The statement by the BLR Airport
The Chief Operating Officer at Bengaluru International Airport, Jayaraj Shanmugam said, "Pre-empting passenger requirements and complementing new-age technology with a focused customer-centric team approach has been our winning combination."
Further, the statement said that robots would offer varied services, including the information about the flight status, passenger convenience services, directional assistance, retail, and F&B information.
These robots will navigate in and around the terminal to escort the travelers to their desired locations. In case if any robot fails to answer the queries of the traveler, s/he shall be directly connected to the ' Airport Help Desk' via video call or the robot screen.
