This year, Amarnath Yatra will begin on June 30 for devotees. The journey will go-ahead for 43 days. The Center is expecting a high traveler rush on this yatra this time. In order to take the travelers straightforwardly from Srinagar to Panchtarni, the center has asked for helicopter service. Panchtarni is the last drop-off point, around 6 km from the place of worship.
Currently, helicopter administrations are accessible for the pioneers from Pahalgam and Baltal to Panchtarni, from where enthusiasts are either expected to ride, walk or take a cart to the Amarnath. Both Pahalgam and Baltal are around 90 km from Srinagar, while another course is being added too from Budgam (close to the Srinagar air terminal) to Panchtarni this year.

Heavy rush for Amarnath yatra
