India’s flight services provider Air India has announced to restart its direct, non-stop flights between Delhi and Sydney from November 15. The move comes after the Australian flag-carrier Qantas has announced to operate new flights on the Delhi-Sydney route from December 6 after almost a decade.

As per the reports in Times Travel, "initially Qantas will operate flights between Sydney and Delhi thrice-a-week on its A330 aircraft, which will likely be increased to daily flights by end of the year. The flights would be operating until at least late March 2022, which will then remain in place if there is sufficient demand."

Air India shared this information via twitter, stating that booking would start from 1200 hours on Wednesday through booking offices, the Air India website, authorized travel agents, and booking offices.
