Veteran Australian cricketer Shane Warne passes away at 52
Australian legendary leg-spinner has passed away at 52 due to a suspected heart attack. He played a significant role in the cricket world.

Australian cricket legend Shane Warne has died at the age of 52 of a 'suspected heart attack' in Koh Samui, Thailand. He was a significant contributor to the winning team of the 1999 Cricket World Cup.
Died of suspected heart attack
As per the reports, Shane Warne was enjoying his holidays in his villa at Thailand, and he was found lying unconscious. He is the only player who scored 3000+ test runs but never scored a century. His career was plagued by controversies off the field. These included a ban from cricket for testing positive for a banned substance.
As per Reuters, Thai Police said, "The friend did CPR on him and called an ambulance," Chatchawin Nakmusik, an officer with the Bo Put police in Koh Samui, told Reuters by phone.
"An emergency response unit then arrived and did another CPR for 10-20 minutes. Then an ambulance from the Thai International Hospital arrived and took him there. They did CPR for five minutes, and then he died", said Chatchawin.
Shane Warne's Career
Warne played his first Test match in 1992, and became the second bowler after Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan to take 1000 international wickets. He has taken 708 wickets in Test cricket and 293 wickets in ODIs. In 2013, he announced to retire from all forms of cricket. He has played in IPL from 2008 to 2011 as captain and coach of Rajasthan Royals. In 2012, he was inducted into Cricket Australia Hall of Fame and in 2013, he was inducted into ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
