Tokyo Olympics: Bajrang Punia reaches Semi-finals in 65kg Wrestling
Indian Wrestler Bajrang Punia has reached semi-finals in 65kg Wrestling.

On August 6, Indian Wrestling champion Bajrang Punia has qualified for semi-finals after defeating Iran's Morteza Ghiasi in the men's freestyle 65kg category. Bajrang will now fight against Rio 2016 bronze medallist Haji Aliyev of Azerbaijan in the semi-finals.
Earlier, he has beaten Kazakhstan's Ernazar Akmataliev in the pre-quarters and reached quarter-finals. Bajrang managed to score a 3-1 lead in the first period of the first round. Meanwhile, Akmataliev, pushed Bajrang out of bounds twice in the second period. Somehow, Bajrang managed to defend the last eight seconds successfully, thus taking the bout on criteria with the scoreline 3-3.
