Team India Defeated England in Chennai series and achieved this spectacular feat after 89 years

Team India, lost the first match of the four-Test series by 227, but made a reversal that England could never forget. Virat Kohli had given a fabulous gift of victory to his fans in just a week. The target of 428 runs was given to England but England team remained limited to 164 runs on the fourth day. Virat did a fantastic job of winning by 317 runs.

Earlier in 1986, Team India defeated England by 279 runs under the captaincy of Kapil Dev in Leeds. Now this record has been added to the name of Virat Kohli. India has achieved the fifth biggest win of its 89-year Test history against England.

After losing the first match of the series, Virat Kohli said - We know how to come back and we will give our best in the next match. We have to start with good body language and put pressure on the opposing team. Kohli's statement has proved absolutely right.

Ravichandran Ashwin's all-round performance on one side in this magnificent win will always be memorable. Apart from this, 161 runs were scored off the bat of  Rohit Sharma in the first innings, which strengthened Team India. Apart from this, half-centuries (58 not out) of Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant helped Team India reach 329 runs in the first innings.

Amidst all this, after bowling England for 134 runs in the first innings, in the second innings, Ashwin has made a mark with his bat. With this, captain Kohli's half-century also set an impossible target with England. Well, many congratulations to this magnificent victory of India.
