PKL 2021: Winner in the last match, UP Yoddha now ready to challenge Jaipur Pink Panthers
UP Yoddha is set to face Jaipur Pink Panthers in their third game of PKL-8 on 27th December.
Fresh off a thrilling win, UP Yoddha of Pro Kabaddi League is set to face Jaipur Pink Panthers in their third game of PKL-8 on 27th December. Both the teams are chasing a win and are adjacent to each other in the points table. The match will be played behind closed doors at Sheraton Grand, Whitefield, Bengaluru and will start at 8:30 PM IST.
The last time the two sides met, UP Yoddha won 38-32 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. Both the sides have faced each other 5 times so far, out of which UP Yoddha has won thrice and lost twice.
“We are confident after our last win and look forward to the match. We are aware that this is a very challenging league and we cannot take any of our opponents lightly, however I have a lot of faith in our team and their ability to bounce back. I am sure the boys will do their best to do the same again,” said UP head coach Yodha Jasvir Singh.
UP Yoddha will enter this match with full confidence after a 36-35 win against Patna Pirates in their last match. Pardeep Narwal's scintillating performance won 12 points for UP Yoddha, followed by Sumit scoring 6 tackle points. The team of Jaipur will also come out on the strength of a 40-38 win against Haryana Steelers.
