IPL 2022: Lucknow Super Giants launches new jersey, First match on Mar 26
IPL's franchisee team Lucknow Super Giants unveiled their jersey for the upcoming season of IPL 2022.

Ahead of the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the new franchisee team Lucknow Super Giants has launched their first-ever jersey on Tuesday. The first match of the league will be played between the defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 26. The Lucknow Super Giants is one of the two new franchisee teams that have launched their first IPL jersey, the other is Gujarat Titans. The new teams will be seen face to face on the field on March 28.

Light sky color has been used in the new jersey of Lucknow team. It has been designed by young designer Kunal Rawal. The theme song is sung by Badshah and choreography is done by Remo D'Souza.
The Lucknow Super Giants
The IPL's new franchisee team Lucknow Super Giants was purchased by the Sanjiv Goenka, owner of RSPG group for INR 7,090 crores. The team has Andy Flower as the head coach, while two-time IPL winning captain Gautam Gambhir is the mentor.
