Indian-American player Jaskaran Singh Malhotra has registered his name in the pages of history by hitting 6 sixes in 6 balls while playing against Papua New Guinea. He has become the fourth batsman to hit 6 sixes in 6 balls. Earlier, this score has been scored by former Indian cricket legend Yuvraj Singh, South Africa's Herschelle Gibbs and West Indies' Kieron Pollard.

Jaskaran has played a blistering innings of 173 runs in 124 balls in the match being held in Oman. He hit 16 sixes and 4 fours. His team's total score was 271/9 in 50 overs, whereas Oman's team scored only 137 runs. This was the second match of the series between America and Oman. In the previous match also, America had defeated Papua New Guinea by 7 wickets. 

Herschelle Gibbs, the former South African batsman, is the first player in the world who has 6 more sixes in 1 over. He did this feat against the Netherlands in the 2007 World Cup. Just 6 months after that, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh hit 6 sixes in 6 balls against England in the first T20 World Cup. Earlier this year, West Indies T20 captain Kieron Pollard had registered his name in this list, he hit 6 sixes off Sri Lankan spinner Akhila Dhananjaya.
