India won the second match of the India vs Australia series of the T20 world cup held in Nagpur. India made an impressive score and beat the target of 91 runs in 8 overs while 6 wickets were still saved. Following the defeat in the previous match, India took back its form in this match setting a tie of 1-1 score with opponents. So the upcoming match of Hyderabad on September 24 would decide the winner of this series.

Rohit Sharma and have a big hand in yesterday’s victory as he abated the match by making 46-runs in just 20 balls. Also, KL Rahul smashed 30 runs while Vice Captain Virat Kohli could sustain only 6 balls and 10 runs. Though the captain had to face huge criticism for his absence in the previous match, he impressed his fans with his mind-blowing performance in this match. The Vice-captain, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Rahul were dismissed by the excellent bowling of Adam Zampa after which Rohit took the charge.

Australia had scored 90/5 in 8 overs out of which 43 runs in 20-balls and 31 runs in 15 were hammered by Matthew Wade(w) and Aaron respectively. Also, Josh Hazlewood made 20 runs in the first over. Aaron Finch and Steve Smith were cleaned off by Jaspreet Bumrah. Bumrah ended up with 1/23 in his two which distressed Rohit Sharma. Daniel Sams and Sean Abbott were also hammered

Rohit Sharma said about Bumrah at the post-match presentation “He is coming back after a couple of months. The back injury can be tricky. I am not going to talk too much about how he bowled. He got us the crucial wicket. As a team, we are not going to analyze too much. I just wanted him to come and enjoy”.
