In the second match of the series going on between India and New Zealand, India has defeated New Zealand by 372 runs. Chasing a huge target, New Zealand's team was all-out for 167 runs. Batting first, India won the toss and scored 325 runs in a thrilling match, in which New Zealand spinner bowler Ajaz Patel created history by taking 10 wickets in an innings and became the third player in the world to do so. But then the New Zealand batsmen gave their knees in front of the Indian bowler and the team was all-out for 62 runs and India won the game by 50 percent there. After this, in the second innings, the batsmen of the Indian team started playing fast and declared their innings by scoring 276 runs in 70 overs. 

For your information, let us tell you that Mayank Agarwal scored 62, Pujara and Shubman Gill 47, captain Kohli 36 and set a big target of 540 runs in front of New Zealand. Chasing the target, New Zealand's team looked to bat like its first innings, but in this innings Darrell Mitchell played a struggling innings of 60 runs. The Indian team had set such a big target in front of New Zealand on the third day itself. Although 540 New Zealand runs could have been scored in two and a half days, Peach was in favor of the bowlers and the bowlers took full advantage of it. In the second innings, both Indian spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Jayant Yadav took 4-4 wickets for their team and took the team to the threshold of victory. 

After the match, the award of 'Player of the Match' was conferred to Mayank Agarwal for his best innings, while Ravichandra Ashwin was made 'Player of the Series'.
