Asian Archery Championships 2021:India out of league with Seven Medals
At the Asian Archery Championships 2021, India won seven medals, with the recurve women's and men's teams taking silver.

On Friday, the recurve women's and men's teams settled for silver at the Asian Archery Championships 2021, giving India a total of seven medals. The Koreans defeated both the men's and women's teams in their respective finals.
The Korean trio of Ryoo Su Jung, Oh Yejin, and Lim Haejin defeated the Indian trio of Ankita Bhakat, Ridhi Phor, and Madhu Vedwan 6-0 in the women's recurve final, while the Korean trio of Leo Seungyun, Kim Pil-Joong, and Han Woo Tack defeated the Indian trio of Pravin Jadhav, Parth Salunkhe, and Kapil 6-2 in the men's final.
The mixed recurve duo of Ankita Bhakat and Kapil won bronze after a 6-0 triumph over Uzbekistan in the bronze medal match.
Earlier, Jyothi Surekha Vennam won gold in the women's individual compound, while Abhishek Verma, the 2017 Asian champion, took silver in the men's event.
In the compound mixed team, Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Rishabh Yadav had to settle with silver, losing 155-154 against Choi Yonghee and Kim Yunhee of South Korea.
