Paneer is one such food product which is rich in protein, low in carbs, and it is high in saturated fats which ultimately makes it best to be consumed while being on a weight loss journey. Paneer is also loaded with calcium, potassium and selenium which makes it the best food option to meet the macronutrient requirement of our body.

Here are two Paneer recipes that can be tried at home 

Paneer Bhurji

This recipe fulfils the craving for spicy food and also provides essential nutrients to our bodies. The dish can be enjoyed with bread, chapatti or as a snack. 

The process to make: 

- Take some homemade paneer. 

- In a blender, make a smooth paste of 2 chopped onions, 1 tomato and 2 green chillies. 

- Now take a pan and heat it over the flame. 

- Add a few drops of olive oil or any oil of your choice and tomato puree. 

- After a few seconds add and mix 2 pinches of spices like black pepper, rock salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and cumin powder. 

- Put paneer into this mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes. 

Serve this delicacy with chapatti or bread.

Corn and Paneer

This dish can be enjoyed as a party time starter and it is really healthy for people who are following a strict weight-loss diet.  

The process to make: 

- Put a pan over the flame and add 2 teaspoons olive oil or any oil of your choice. 

- Add 2 pinch cumin seeds and wait till they get roasted. 

- Now add 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped capsicum, 350 grams corn and 2 green chillies to the pan. 

- Mix some spices in the mixture - 2 pinch salt, black pepper, and chilli flakes. 

- Now, it's the time to crumble some paneer and add it to the mixture. 

- Cover and cook for around 2-3 minutes. 

Enjoy it as a starter party snack or as your mid-time snack.
