World's First 22K Gold Plated Vada Pav is launched at a restaurant in Dubai.

Vada Pav, the famous street food from Mumbai has been made elite at a restaurant in Dubai. The dish is priced at almost Rs 2,000 (Rs 1,970 to be precise) or AED 99. Located in Karama and Al Quoz, the Dubai restaurant O’Pao serves "sliders with an Indian twist".
The “O’Gold" vada pav is loaded with 22 karat gold. As shared by the restaurant on Instagram, "it is filled with truffle butter and cheese, and comes with sweet potato fries and mint lemonade."
According to a report in Khaleej Times, "the vada is laden with cheese and imported French truffle butter, while the bread is topped with homemade mint mayonnaise dip. The flavoured potato dumpling is wrapped with premium quality French-imported 22-karat golden leaves."
The video of the vada pav was reshared by Twitter user Masarat Daud, where it got over 20,000 views. On this a twitter user posted, "There’s no green chillies mint sauce with this. Cancelled". Another user commented, "Vada Pav now enjoys the gold standard."

Earlier, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, dubbed as ‘Black Diamond’ was launched at Dubai’s Scoopi cafe costing around Rs 60,000. It was discovered by actor and travel vlogger Shenaz Treasury during her visit to Dubai. Treasury captioned the video, "60,000 rupees for an ice cream ????!!!! Eating GOLD ????Only in Dubai. ???? World’s most expensive ice cream ????."
