- The classic rangoli, made from colours/ Abeer :
This type of rangoli is the most common and most preferred one. If you are a beginner at Rangoli making skills, the best way to go is to to choose an easy-peasy design, trace it on the floor and then start filling in the spaces.
- The one made from flower petals :
This style is so easy and rather gives you a huge margin if you are a beginner. It looks gorgeous and is extremely easy, to not just make but also to clean up. In case of this type of design all you have to do is trace the design and then fill in the places with the petals of flowers. And don’t worry even if you mess up, you can always just pick up the petals and remake the design.
- The one made with diyas :
As we proceed with more and more designs, the level of difficulty seems to be going low. In this design, make a rangoli with the help of diyas and candles as fillers. Even if you don’t wish to make a design, the easiest way to go by is to trace it by the scotting of the walls . This design won’t just make your house beautiful but also very bright and also very aromatic if you choose to replace the diyas with candles.
- The one made with Mirrors :
This type of rangoli design is the most new and very much in trends, especially if you are an amateur. Think of any easy to make design in your mind and go to the nearest stationary shop to your house and get all the types of the mirrors available. Then try to align all the mirrors and try making a design. Decorate it further with all sorts of beads, Kundan and other decorative material you can grab.
- The one made with acrylics :
These are absolutely gorgeous rangolis. They are available in the market in a ready-made form and often come with stickers beneath them so that they stay in their place. They are obviously a bit costlier, but at the same time do not require much time and skills and patience. Just pick a spot anywhere you feel like, place them and you are good to go.
