Delhi Book Fair 2021 is about to happen in the city. Know the details of the event.
The Federation of Indian Publishers has decided to organise the event virtually again due to Covid-19. Previously, last year’s event was also held virtually which was a major success. This time, the co-organizer of the event is CAPEXIL. CAPEXIL is also the front-list digital media partner of the event. Organizations like TERI, WWF, Mobius Foundation, Climate Reality will be participating in the pavilion on sustainability.
The event will be based on two themes this year, 'Mental Health' and 'Sustainability' which will be conducted virtually on 'Pragati E'. The event has a lot to offer from getting the favorite books, listening to webinars from experts to interacting with your favorite authors.
The dates of the event
The 27th edition of Delhi Book Fair 2021 will begin from September 3 and conclude on September 5.
The venue of the event
As the event will be held virtually the platform for the fair is at 'PragatiE'. A complete 360° enabled setup with advanced technology. The platform is equipped with an improved marketplace, to provide an immersive virtual experience for the visitors and publishers. It also facilitates the sale of books and organises a multitude of events digitally on any given scale.
The themes of the event
This year, two themes are decided for the event- ‘Mental Health’ and ‘Sustainability.’ The fair will have a theme pavilion to conduct webinars alongwith the showcasing of books on the situations around the period of pandemic.
