With dipping levels of Oxygen, Milkha Singh admitted to hospital
Milkha Singh being admitted to PGIMER on Thursday afternoon with dipping levels of oxygen.

Milkha Singh, the former Commonwealth Games champion and 1960 Rome Olympian has been admitted to Nehru Hospital Extension at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) on Thursday.
He was suffering from Covid - 19 and got discharge from a Mohali Hospital last month. He was in isolation and on oxygen support at home. His son Jeev Milkha Singh said, 'Yes, at present he is admitted in ICU Covid ward. Praying to God that he gets well soon". “Yes, my father has been admitted in the PGIMER today,” he added.
Milkha Singh came under the grip of corona virus on 19 May, after which he was admitted to the hospital on 24 May. Milkha Singh ran out of oxygen and her body became dehydrated. Milkha Singh's wife Nirmal Kaur is also in the grip of Corona and she is also hospitalized. Milkha Singh's condition is currently said to be stable.
“Flying Sikh Milkha Singh has been admitted in ICU in Covid Hospital of PGIMER at 3.35 pm.today due to dipping levels of oxygen. He has been kept under observation and is stable now,” said Prof Ashok Kumar, Official Spokesperson, PGIMER.
