Weather Update: IMD Predicts Heavy Rainfall in These States From Monday
On Saturday morning, the national capital witnessed pleasant weather with a minimum temperature of 24.3 degrees Celsius.

On Saturday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted rainfall in Northwest India and Central India from Monday onwards. As per the weather prediction by the weather department, "under the influence of lower-level easterlies, scattered to fairly widespread light/moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and lightning are on the cards over Uttarakhand and east Uttar Pradesh from Sunday till June 29, over Himachal Pradesh and West Uttar Pradesh on June 28 and 29.

Heavy Rainfall in these states
There is a possibility of heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand during June 27-29, over East Uttar Pradesh on June 28 and 29, and over Himachal Pradesh on June 29. The Met Department also said, "Under the influence of a trough from west Rajasthan and neighborhood to Gangetic West Bengal in lower levels, fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorm/lightning is expected over Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, isolated to scattered rainfall is likely over Madhya Pradesh during next five days, and isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Chhattisgarh till June 29, Vidarbha during June 26-29 and over East Madhya Pradesh during June 27-29."

Delhi NCR's Weather Prediction
On Saturday morning, the national capital witnessed pleasant weather with a minimum temperature of 24.3 degrees Celsius, as per the IMD. On Friday, the national capital's minimum temperature and maximum temperature were recorded at 23.2 degrees Celsius and 39.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
The vice president of Skymet Weather (climate change and meteorology department), Mahesh Palawat said, "Due to westerly dry and hot winds with clear skies in Delhi, maximum temperature may cross 40 degrees once again. Temperatures are expected to drop from June 27 with thunderstorms and light rain."
