Weather Update: IMD predicts Heatwave, Temperature to cross 40 Degrees Celsius in Delhi
IMD predicts heatwave in Delhi with maximum temperature to reach around 40 degrees Celsius.

In India, the heatwave has started blowing in many states with temperatures reaching around 40 degrees. In the national capital, the temperature of Delhi is increasing every day. As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), Weather Alert has been issued for March 29 and 30, that the national capital could witness maximum temperature up to 40 degrees. The heatwave is also predicted in the National Capital Region.
Mercury in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh reaches 43 degrees
On Monday, 7 districts of Madhya Pradesh witnessed a heatwave. In the capital Bhopal, the temperature reached 39.8 degrees ie about 40 degrees. Of the six cities which were the hottest in the country on Monday, Khargone in Madhya Pradesh recorded 43 degrees Celsius and Narmadapuram recorded 42.3 degrees Celsius. As per meteorologists, the hot winds are coming from Rajasthan, which is increasing the temperature of Madhya Pradesh.
The temperature in Delhi reaches 39.1 degrees Celsius
In the capital Delhi on Monday, March 28, the temperature was recorded at 39.1 degrees. It is likely to increase today and tomorrow. According to the IMD, from March 30, hot winds will blow over Haryana, the southern region of UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, East Madhya Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, North Maharashtra, and Marathwada. Their speed will be more, due to which the heat will increase further. Heatwave conditions will prevail over Jammu Division, Himachal Pradesh, Saurashtra, and Kutch for two days. Similar temperature is expected in Vidarbha and Rajasthan also for five days.
