Weather Update: Delhi To See Partly Cloudy Sky, Red Alert for Rainfall in Maharashtra
Several regions in Maharashtra are witnessing heavy rainfall. The IMD has issued a red alert for the Vidarbha region and an orange alert has been issued for Mumbai.

For Tuesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted no rains in the national capital and the adjoining areas. Delhi is likely to record the maximum temperature at 36 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, the maximum temperature in Delhi NCR settled at 29.2 degrees Celsius. However, in the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius.
As per the data recorded by the IMD, the city recorded a relative humidity of 81 percent at 8:30 am.

Weather forecast for Delhi NCR
For the day, the IMD has forecast a partly cloudy sky. On Wednesday, the minimum and the maximum temperature in the national capital are likely to settle at 28 degrees Celsius and 36 degrees Celsius respectively.
There is no possibility of rainfall in Delhi on Wednesday too, while exceptionally light rainfall alongside strong winds speeding up to 25 to 35 kmph is likely to occur on Thursday and Friday. Extremely light rainfall and thunderstorms are likely to happen on Sunday. The monsoon trough is dynamic and south of its normal position, as per an IMD release on Tuesday.

As per the weather forecast by the IMD, "intense to very intense rain with gusty winds speeding up to 40-45 kmph is very likely to take place in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Palghar, and Thane districts."
