Under the influence of the season's first moderate-intensity thunderstorm, heavy rainfall spelled in the north-western parts of India. As per the weather forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is no possibility of heatwave conditions in any part of the country except western Rajasthan for the next five days. As per the national weather agency, Over the areas of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and adjoining areas of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh will witness isolated rains. 


On Tuesday, the Met department forecasted hailstorms and thunderstorms at isolated areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand with strong gusty winds speeding around 30-40 kmph at isolated areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and West Madhya Pradesh.

The weather conditions in the national capital 

On Tuesday, in Delhi, with a cloudy sky and rainfall, the maximum temperature settled at 32.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature hovered at 18.9 degrees Celsius, as per the weather officials. 

At 8:30 am the humidity was recorded at 77 percent and at 5:30 pm the city recorded 55 percent humidity. As per the Met department, on Wednesday the minimum and maximum temperatures in the national capital are likely to hover around 20 degrees Celsius and 37 degrees Celsius.
