Weather Forecast: Delhi's Flights Diverts to Jaipur Due to Bad Weather

On Monday evening, the national capital received heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms and very strong winds. With the drops of rain, the residents of Delhi-NCR have gotten relief from the tormenting heat. On Tuesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that this year the monsoon has knocked on the doors of Kerala three days prior to its expected arrival date.

The weather forecast about the monsoon
As per the weather forecast by the weather agency, there is a possibility for the monsoon to reach the central Arabian Sea, the remaining parts of Kerala, some areas of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, and northeast states in the next two-three days.

On Monday evening, due to the storm, the national capital witnessed a temperature drop of up to 20.4 degrees Celsius as recorded at 8:30 am on Tuesday morning. The national capital recorded a maximum temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 27.8 degrees Celsius on Monday.

Flights diverted to Jaipur
Keeping in view the bad weather conditions on Monday evening, flights that were coming from Patna and Mumbai were diverted to Jaipur. An official at the Jaipur airport shared that whenever there are bad weather conditions in Delhi, the flights are diverted to Jaipur mostly.
Yellow alert in Bihar
In Bihar, there is a possibility of rain with strong thunderstorms in the next 24 hours, as per the weather forecast by the Met department. For some districts of Bihar, a yellow alert has been issued.
As per Skymet weather, a western disturbance is approaching the western Himalayas and it is likely to stay there for at least three days. There is a possibility of some rain and thundershowers in the hilly areas of North India which includes Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.
