Raja Pateria, a senior leader of Congress in Madhya Pradesh, has landed himself in a massive controversy. While addressing a speech Mr Pateria was spotted provoking to "kill" Prime Minister Narendra Modi if they desire to "save" the Constitution. Soon after he clarifies that by "killing" he means "defeating".

However several BJP leaders are who are enraged due to such statement from Mr Pateria are now demanding for his immediate arrest. I Reportedly the Madhya Pradesh government have filed a police case against a former state minister Mr. Pateria. Home Minister Narottam Mishra who has ordered for a FIR said, "Such statements show that today's Congress is not Mahatma Gandhi's Congress. It's the Congress of Italy that is afflicted with a Mussolini mindset".

Actually Mr Pateria while addressing a group of party workers said: "Modi will end elections, Modi will divide on the basis of religion, caste, language; the lives of Dalits, tribals, and minorities are in danger. If the constitution is to be saved, then be ready to kill Modi."The video of this event that have come out of Pawai town in Panna district is going viral over social media.

However the Congress leader explained that the word "murder" in his speech means defeat as he is follower of the ideology of non-violence given by Mahatma Gandhi. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attacked Rahul Gandhi in a video where he said, "The real face of those pretending to do a Bharat Jodo Yatra is coming out."

CM Chouhan also gave the following opinion, "The respected PM Modi lives in the hearts of the people, and he is the centre of the admiration and faith of the entire country. Congress people can't face the PM in the electoral battle, and one Congress leader talks about his murder. This is the height of jealousy. This is excess hatred. Congress's real sentiments have been revealed, but such things won't be tolerated. An FIR is being registered, and the law will take its course,"

Union minister Pralhad Venkatesh Joshi called Mr. Pateria's remark as "an unpardonable crime". He said in video appeal, "Even if Raja Patria declares himself mentally unsound, he should not get away with this crime. I request the government of Madhya Pradesh that immediate and strict action should be taken against Raja Pateria," he said in a video appeal.
