UP Election Results Update: Votes Counting begun, Who will rule?

The counting of votes for the Assembly Poll Elections in five states of India has begun today. As per the figures, there is a possibility for BJP to come into the ruling power and to form the government again in Uttar Pradesh.

The counting of votes for the Assembly Poll Elections in five states of India has begun today. As per the figures, there is a possibility for BJP to come into the ruling power and to form the government again in Uttar Pradesh, the country's largest state. At the same time, the government of Aam Aadmi Party is predicted to come in the ruling power in Punjab. As per the counting,  there is a major possibility of BJP to form the government once again in Goa. Looking towards Manipur, then BJP is ready to put its flag there too. 

Counting of votes for 403 seats in the UP assembly has begun from 8 am today 

All the preparations for the counting of votes in Uttar Pradesh have been completed. On Thursday, EVMs and postal ballots have started to count the votes from 8 am. Voting for the Legislative Assembly elections was held in seven phases. In the first phase on February 10, votes were cast in 58 seats in 11 districts. This was followed by 55 seats for the second phase on February 14, 59 seats in the third phase on February 20, 59 seats in the fourth phase on February 23, 61 seats in the fifth phase on February 27, 57 seats on March 3 and March 7. Polling was held in 54 seats in the seventh phase. And now the time has come for the election results.  

Counting of votes amid tight security 

In the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022, 4442 candidates entered the competition. Of these, 560 are women. Counting of 403 assembly seats in all 75 districts has begun from 8 am at 84 centers amid tight security arrangements. 

Who will get the Ruling power? 

BJP is capturing 18 out of 40 seats in Goa, although the counting of votes is still going on. On the other hand, in Manipur, BJP is ahead in 25 out of 60 seats. After this, the Yogi government has almost captured 235 seats in 403 seats in Uttar Pradesh, while the SP has also crossed the 100 mark. 

Talking about Uttarakhand, BJP seems to be going towards a one-sided victory. BJP is ahead in 44 seats out of 70 seats, while Congress 20 and AAP has not got any seat yet.
