Ravneet Bittu of Congress and Akali MP Harsimrat Kaur clashes over Farm laws
Ravneet Bittu of Congress and Akali MP Harsimrat Kaur have clashed in front of the Parliament gates over farm laws.

Since November 2020, farmers have been protesting near Delhi' borders. They are demanding to scrap off the three contentious laws, cleared in September last year. For them their income will be hit if the laws are implemented. Despite of having many rounds of talks the deadlock between the protesters and the government has not been resolved.
To protest against the government's farm laws Harsimrat Kaur had resigned last year as the Union Minister. "The bill was passed by the Union Cabinet when she was still the minister. You resigned later. They (Akali Dal) continue to indulge in drama," Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu told reporters, hitting out at Harsimrat Kaur Badal.
Harsimrat Kaur Badal replied, "Please ask them... Where was Rahul Gandhi when all that was happening. This party (the Congress) helped in the passage of bills by staging a walkout. They have to stop lying."
