He returned to India from Zimbabwe and had even travelled to South Africa, said the sources, adding that he is fully vaccinated. With this, the number of infected cases of new variant of corona has reached to 33 in India. Of the people who came from abroad in Delhi, 27 people were found to be corona positive. Their sample was sent for genome sequencing. So far the report of 25 people has come negative. While two people have been found positive.
A total of 33 cases have been reported inside India so far. The maximum number of cases have been seen in Maharashtra, 17. Then 9 cases have been found in Rajasthan, 3 in Gujarat, 2 in Delhi and two in Karnataka. It is a matter of relief here that the report of all 9 people in Rajasthan has come out negative. The patient's report has also come negative in Pune, Maharashtra. At the same time, an Omicron patient from Karnataka has fled to Dubai.
9 cases reported on Friday
On Friday, 9 cases of new variant of Corona were reported in the country. Of these, 7 were from Maharashtra and 2 cases were reported from Jamnagar in Gujrat. Of the cases found in Maharashtra, 3 cases have been found in Mumbai and 4 cases in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
